"I first experienced yoga while attending UWEC and continued to seek out yoga studios when I moved to the Pacific Northwest. When I returned to Chippewa Falls the yoga community was flourishing in the Chippewa Valley leading me to complete my 230-Hour Yoga Teacher Training through The Yoga Center of Minneapolis/The Yoga Room of Eau Claire. Since then I have enjoyed continued education in Prenatal Yoga, Energy in Yoga, and Yoga Philosophy.
Challenging yoga practices were my gateway to the peace and mindfulness that I so desperately needed in my life. My passion to share yoga started the same, when I began I loved to help others in Yoga Flow classes move through poses to link the breath and calm the mind. While I still get no greater joy than teaching a class where strength and mind flourish, breath work and slower moving yoga has been a gift to me that I am also grateful to share with others. Weather you struggle with an always wandering minds or constant body aches that sound more like screams when you try to stretch, yoga can reach all parts of our body and souls allowing you to truly experience presence in a pose and ultimately presence in our lives off the mat as well.
I love teaching yoga in hopes to share the brilliance of presence and mindfulness in all aspects of life."
