Chiropractic Adjustments
Chiropractic adjustments are intended to correct subluxation due to misaligments of joints. These misalignments can occur in any joint in the body, so we are able to adjust the spine and pelvis, the upper and lower extremities, and the jaw. Many patients visit chiropractors with complaints of: headaches, neck pain, back pain, numbness and tingling, and jaw pain. We see patients who have been diagnosed with temporomandibular dysfunction (TMJ). migraines, tension headaches, cluster headaches, vertigo, thoracic outlet syndrome, carpal tunnel syndrome, scoliosis, ankylosing sponylitis, disc buldge, disc herniation, fibromyalgia, restless leg syndrome., sciatica, plantar fascitis, and bunions.
Physiotherapies
We offer therapeutic ultrasound to help reduce inflammation. This therapy can be helpful for reducing pain and stiffness due to plantar fasciitis of the feet and and also to reduce edema due to ankle sprains.
We also offer interferential electric stimulation, which can help reduce pain and muscle spasm associated with sciatica and disc bulges.
Kinesiotaping
We use kinesiotaping to help reduce swelling and bruising through lymphatic drainage as well as help to increase range of motion and improve posture. This technique may help patients recover with injuries from automobile accidents, people have slipped and fallen on ice, shoveling injuries, and sports injuries.
Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization
Dr. Amy is certified in Rockblades and Rockblades Advanced through Rocktape, which are stainless steel tools that help improve range of motion, decrease pain, and can help facilitate weakened muscles by increasing blood flow to allow healing. The mohawk tool can help facilitate neurosensory improvement to the cutaneous nerves at the surface of the skin, helping people with numbness and tingling.
