Dr. Amy Gamerdinger Jeffers is a chiropractor in Chippewa Falls. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Medical Biology with a minor in chemistry from Edgewood College in Madison, Wisconsin and her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, Minnesota. She has had post doctoral training in pediatrics and nutrition and is certified by the Academy of Chiropractic Family Practice in Chiropractic Pediatrics and also in the Webster Technique for pregnancy by the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. She is a BIRTHFIT Leader and has taken a course in Spinning Babies. She is currently completing her dual certification as a childbirth education mentor and doula with Birthing From Within. She has completed Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue training in Rockblades and Rockblades Advanced through Rocktape. She has also completed Craniosacral Therapy for pediatric and pregnancy care with Lori Hendrickson, CST.
Dr. Amy decided she wanted to be a chiropractor after injuring her back while on the dance team in college and getting immediate relief following her adjustment!
Dr. Amy enjoys educating people on how to live healthier lives through chiropractic care and nutrition and especially enjoys working with children and pregnant moms. She facilitates the Pathways Connect natural parenting group. Dr. Amy was an adjunct instructor at Chippewa Valley Technical College for 8 years and has written articles for local magazines on health and wellness topics. She has been a guest speaker for many different groups and is available to present to parenting groups, workplaces and schools. She also regularly writes blog entries on various health and wellness topics.
